“This is a favorite. Well worn pages from great times with the Lord. The formatting is basically scripture chunks rephrased to be personal. Josh 1:7 in the ESV says, “Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.” Whereas Boa’s paraphrase says, “May I be strong and courageous and careful to to obey your word; may I not turn from it…”
It takes verses like that and makes them a personal prayer to God. Great idea, and good flow from verse to verse. Then after the Scripture rephrase it offers a short directive on praying out of that idea. The book has three months of daily prayers. Each day has several headings like, “Adoration, confession, renewal, petition, intercession, affirmation, thanksgiving, and closing prayer.” Excellent resource. Couldn’t recommend it higher.”
