Using discernment and knowing the rules of judgement.  Things to consider before judging someone.  What is the normal character traits of the person.  Who are they and what kind of leadership position do they hold.  Are they actively involved with the sin or is there some good reason for what was going on?

Segment 1 (0:00) – Since Christians have the mind of Christ, we should have better judgement.  When making judgements about people Christians need to consider the situation and whether or not that person is making a pattern out of their sin or not.  When pointing out someone’s sin, make sure to do so in a loving way.

Segment 2 (10:32) – Different levels of sin require different way to judge.  The Bible states that there is greater judgement for different things.  When there is gossip being spread in church about fellow Christians, don’t take it as fact without first going to the source and making sure it’s not just rumors.

Segment 3 (17:55) – How to apply the rules of judging.  When someone has a legitimate reason or excuse for what they are being judged for, do not say a word about it.  Trust the individual and don’t let anything spread about it.  If the person is actively involved with the sin, then it needs to be brought in the open and discussed.
