A preacher should always use the Word of God as his basis for his sermon. Expository sermons are powerful because they draw from the text. The Word of God should be read in an authoritative tone.

Reference to the book of Acts which shows us how to preach and teach the Gospel. Jesus is always our Lord, he doesn’t need us to “make” him our Lord. We need to repent.
