How the Devil uses fear to disable you | Wretched TV Episode 2884

The command “Do not fear” is the most common command found in the Bible. Todd jumps into the book of Nehemiah to show us why it is so important and how the Devil uses fear to stop us from doing the Lord’s work.

There are so many things going on all around us that it’s easy to find ourselves in a state of constant fear if we’re not careful. There’s a reason that the command “Do not fear” appears over 300 times in the Bible. God is our protector and provider and we have no reason to fear!

Todd calls us to be introspective and determine whether we have been living in fear or not. He jumps into 2 Timothy 1 in order to show us a beautiful picture of what it means to have a “spirit of power, love, and a sound mind” instead of the spirit of fear so that we can continue the Lord’s work without delay.

We have a spirit of power, not of fear, so that we can do great works for God’s Kingdom. The work of the church is important and we can’t let fear stop us from accomplishing that work!
