Segment 1
Consider all of the pragmatic trends we’ve seen in Evangelical Christianity. We have another in view – which is the trend of focusing of one attribute of God.
That attribute is God’s Love.
We need to recognize the type of love often described in Evangelical Christianity today isn’t a biblical love – it’s an emotional love.
Do we need to explore how we can return to enjoying the love of God?
When you biblically understand the love of God you will have feelings of joy and gratitude.
Segment 2
Is it possible your understanding of the love of God is to reject anything emotive?
Ephesians 3 is a call for you to focus on the love of God.
God process of giving us feelings is through the cognitive process.
Segment 3
Can you feel the love?
We continue hearing a masterful sermon from Alistair Begg speaking of the love of God.
Segment 4
We love truth. But truth should do something for us.
Truth should cause us to feel.. not mystically, but our emotions should be affected by our knowledge of God and His attributes.
Alistair Begg continues to help us understand this.
The only legitimate response to the knowledge of the love of God is to bow before Him and praise Him.
Do we tell God how we feel?
We must give expression to who God is and what He has done.
