I’m 20, living at home, and want to become a member of the church I’ve been attending with my parents for the past 2 years. However, my dad isn’t ready to commit yet. Any advice for handling this situation?

In the past my church made a big deal about Mother’s Day: we’d have special sermons, flowers, etc. Now, we only have brief acknowledgements, or even silence. Are we witnessing a trend away from honoring mothers within the church? What might this mean for our commitment to uphold God’s blueprint for the family?

What advice would you give a younger single pastor at a new church? I strive to protect the flock God has brought me to but I’m not sure where else to meet a woman who has Christian values.

How can I distinguish between primary and secondary theological issues? I struggle to determine the status of topics like women pastors, divorce, church government, and millennial views.

Should we simplify the Gospel for young children? For example, should we mention things like Hell?

My husband recently told me he desires a motorcycle, but I believe they are dangerous. Should I submit, or should he sacrifice his desires?
