-Episode 2604-

Segment 1 (00:18) Every generation has trouble wanting to learn from older people. We can use the book of Proverbs to become better at living using wisdom from the past generations. You can learn things through a difficult experience or you can accept the wisdom of your elders to save you some time. Having a correct theological perspective can change the way you live life.

Segment 2 (09:14) Teens should seek out the affirmation of their elders rather than other teens. The things you see on social media are not real life, and you should not compare yourself to the standard social media sets. Life gets challenging, and you will not be treated as a precious “snowflake” through every scenario. You will not always win or succeed at everything you do.

Segment 3 (18:40) We have a tendency to not listen to the wisdom we have at our disposal. Don’t blame your parents for your mistakes, but own up to the things you have done wrong. If you feel your teachers are tough, get ready for a boss. The world does not care about your self-esteem.

Wretched Surprise! (25:32) Your parents are sinners, too. Remember that they will not be able to handle things perfectly.
