Segment 1 (00:19): We tend to experience faithless worrying. Every bout of depression is a question about God. God promises that he is with us and that the things we experience are for our good. Are we trusting God or not? Tips from Edward Welch. Reread Bible stories and come up with applications for them.
Segment 2 (09:24): We need to remember that God is with us and sees us. The more we do this the less stressed we will be. Write down positive qualities of a friend and then send it to said friend. As you encourage other it will make you more like God which will change you. Write out your purpose for living and revisit the Bible to remind yourself of what your purpose is. Become an expert in what God says about those who suffer. Sometimes it can be helpful to take notes during the sermons to really understand what God is doing. Think outwardly instead of dwelling on your own worries. Think about others.
Segment 3 (17:43): Dwell on aspects of creation until you can be sure they are good. Use music that points you to Christ.
