Segment 1 (00:20): Only the Word of God can convict and convert somebody. Apologetics are a useful tool, but they have their limitations. Apologetics are better for teaching people who genuinely want to learn and understand. Does the person you are talking to actually want to know what you are trying to teach them, or do they just want to argue?

Segment 2 (07:41): Todd discusses the cosmological argument. A video from deBUNKED explaining why nothing created God. Unsaved sinners can only logic and reason so far because of the fall.

Segment 3 (15:31): BQSA video discussing the ontological argument. The argument states that God must exist if we can imagine him. This argument is not very helpful in persuading an unbeliever. Todd discusses the transcendental argument. If you agree that there is objective morality then you must agree that there is a God, because objective morality cannot exist without a God. When you are discussing morality, then you can start discussing the law. Paul and those in the new testament did not get hung up on apologetics. They preached the law and the gospel.

Wretched Surprise! (25:17): A lame sermon illustration video of a man feeding some dogs in the park and they followed him. People do not follow God because of his cruelty. They may fear God at first the way the dogs might have feared the man, for the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. However, it is God’s kindness that draws us to him.
