The subject of the relationship of church and state has started to heat up.
The dynamic in the conversation has seem to shift.
Previously, the church debated how much the government should be allowed into the church.
Now, the shift sees the church discussing how much it should be involved in the government.
Does the church get to instruct the magistrates how it should rule?
Segment 2
The government can instruct the church on physical things, but cannot move into the spiritual realm.
How far can the church go to enforce Christ being sovereign over all?
Segment 3
What does it mean to over throw the government?
This is a big conversation.
We have to be careful not to step outside of our realm of authority.
God wants us to see the government not as the enemy but the harvest field.
The salvation of one soul has more value than a red wave.
Segment 4
The reformers wrote books on this subject.
We can’t butcher each other over differences of opinion.
If Christ is sovereign over all, where is His omnipotence?
Does He need our help?
