Verbal Abuse | WRETCHED TV Episode 3367

It’s Mailbag Friday! You have questions. We have answers.

If you have any questions, comments, conundrums, snarks, or ideas send them to [email protected].

I recently heard a teacher say that there are four categories of Christians from Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians: mature, natural, infant, and carnal. I don’t see these labels throughout the New Testament, I only see saved vs. unsaved. What say you?

Can Biblical counseling help with issues like insomnia, OCD, and PTSD?

Our family is looking for a church home. One of the only churches we could find that has solid expositry preaching believes in infant baptism, and in order to become members we’d have to baptize our kids. Should we find another church?

Is puppy abortion wrong?

When it comes to the evidence of salvation, do I need to check every box? If not, how should I view that evidence? I struggle with despair because I’m never sure if I have enough evidence for true assurance.

One of our church elders attended a Beyonce concert. Her songs include anti-Christian and disgusting lyrics. I’m outraged but my elder husband doesn’t think the man should be confronted. Am I wrong to be so upset?

Is it wrong to claim tax deductions for donations and weekly church offerings? It doesn’t seem sacrificial if I get money back.

What would you recommend to a woman whose husband is verbally abusive? At what point should she walk away to protect herself and her child?

Recently, you talked about how infants go to Heaven. You said that they have not willfully sinned, therefore they will not be damned. How does that fit with humans having a sin nature?

I struggle with satisfaction at work. Pastors and podcasters are the ones who typically call people to find contentment in their work, but they have dream jobs. They can study what interests them, and tell others about it. No one dreams about doing what I do. Any advice?
